Prof. Dr. Lin Zhang is an Associate Professor at City University of Hong Kong. He directs the Laboratory for Energy Economics and Environmental Management and collaborates with several esteemed institutions. His research, focused on energy and sustainability economics, integrates economic theory, econometrics, general equilibrium modeling, machine learning, and interdisciplinary assessments to develop effective policy solutions.
Prof. Zhang s work contributes to numerous UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), including clean energy, economic growth, innovation, reduced inequalities, and climate action. With a Ph.D. in Economics from ETH Zurich, he has published over 80 papers extensively in top journals and secured funding from prestigious organizations.
