Starting with fundamentals, chapters cover switched RLC circuits, diode rectifiers, DC-DC and DC-AC converters; thereafter, treatment focuses on resonant pulse inverters, rectifiers, AC voltage controllers, and protection of semiconductor devices. Muhammad H. Rashid is a professor in the Department of Electrical, Computer, and Cybersecurity Engineering at Florida Polytechnic University, USA. Prior, he held professorships at the University of West Florida, Pensacola and Purdue University Fort Wayne, and was an associate professor of electrical engineering at Concordia University, Canada. He also worked as a design and development engineer with Brush Electrical Machines Ltd, Lucas Group Research Centre, UK. Rashid has published 29 books and more than 160 technical papers and serves as an editorial advisor for electric power and energy to international publishers.
