Ranjan Kumar Ghadai is an assistant professor in the Mechanical and Industrial Engineering Department, Manipal Institute of Technology, Manipal, India. His research area includes thin-film coating deposition and its characterization, metal matrix composites, artificial ageing, and process optimization. Manoj Gupta is an associate professor at the National University of Singapore's Mechanical Engineering Department. His research interests include the development of energy-efficient techniques such as microwave processing and disintegrated melt deposition processing, the development of light-weight materials with a focus on magnesium-based nanocomposites, syntactic composites, metastable composites, and the development of magnesium-based biomaterials such as composite materials. Prof. (Dr.) J. Paulo Davim is a Full Professor at the University of Aveiro, Portugal, with over 35 years of experience in Mechanical, Materials, and Industrial Engineering. He holds multiple distinguished academic titles, including a PhD in Mechanical Engineering and a DSc from London Metropolitan University. He has published over 300 books and 600 articles, with more than 36,500 citations. He is ranked among the world's top 2% scientists by Stanford University and holds leadership positions in numerous international journals, conferences, and research projects.
