Discover the vital role system engineers play in creating system and cyber security
In an increasingly connected and increasingly complex world, security and resilience are increasingly vital components of overall systems engineering and systems engineering is a critical component in security and resilience. Security: A Systems Engineering Approach offers an overview of the systems engineer's vital role. With a practice-driven approach that introduces both basic and advanced principles and concepts, this is an indispensable resource for professionals in the field looking to develop secure and resilient systems that deliver intended and only intended capability, behaviors, and outcomes for the intended and only the intended users.
Security readers will also find:
Treatment of topics including design principles, security process overview, and more
Discussion of the Zero Trust precepts and principles and engineering for Zero Trust
Takeaway objectives at the end of each chapter and a companion website with robust supporting materials
Security is ideal for system engineers looking to orchestrate and coordinate meeting security objectives balanced with other system objectives and assist them in understanding security in a systems thinking manner.
