Recent Trends and Perspectives on Electrochemical Sensors for Environmental Monitoring presents current trends and progress on electrochemical sensors for environmental monitoring. The book comprehensively discusses various strategies to design electrochemical sensors for the analysis of contaminants of emerging concern in environmental samples and offers a thorough perspective on the most prominent methods, materials, and procedures available in the literature on electrochemical sensors for environmental monitoring.

This book will be a helpful resource for the development of new sensor technologies and advanced onsite applications that can be used in routine analysis.

Dr. Sibel A. Ozkan has been a Full Professor of Analytical Chemistry at the Faculty of Pharmacy, Ankara University, Türkiye, since 1986. She is an active member of the Division of Analytical Chemistry of the European Chemical Society, representing the Turkish Chemical Society. Her research encompasses separation techniques, chiral separation, drug analysis, electrochemical biosensors, nanosensors, biomarkers, environmental sensors, method development, and validation of drug assays. She serves as an editor for the Journal of Pharmaceutical and Biomedical Analysis and is also an editorial board member of Talanta, Chromatographia, Biosensors & Bioelectronics: X, and other prominent journals.
