Dr. Zhan-Chao Hu obtained his Ph.D. degree at Peking University in 2020. He is now an assistant professor at the School of Aeronautics and Astronautics, Sun Yat-sen University. During 2017-2018, he had been a visiting scholar at Northwestern University. His research interests cover fundamental fluid mechanics and transport phenomena, with particular emphasis on non-ideal fluids and extreme conditions. He has been granted the Excellent Ph.D. Thesis Award at Peking University and Outstanding Graduate Student Award.
