Baoguo Han is Professor of Civil Engineering, Dalian University of Technology, China. His research interests include multifunctional/smart materials and structures, high performance concrete and structures, and nanotechnology in civil engineering. Dr. Sumit Sharma is currently working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Dr. BR Ambedkar National Institute of Technology (NIT) Jalandhar, Punjab. Before joining this institute, he worked as an Assistant Professor in the School of Mechanical Engineering at Lovely Professional University, Phagwara. He completed his Ph.D. in Composite Materials at NIT Jalandhar in 2015. He did his M.Tech in Mechanical Engineering (Gold Medalist), also at NIT Jalandhar in 2010. He graduated in Mechanical Engineering (with honors) from Kurukshetra University in 2007. Dr. Longbiao Li completed his PhD from Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics in 2011. His main research area is the study of durability in high-temperature ceramic-matrix composites. In this research field, he has already published >105 SCI papers over the past five years, in: Ceramics International, Journal of the European Ceramic Society, Composites Part B, the International Journal of Mechanical Sciences, Theoretical and Applied Fracture Mechanics, International Journal of Fatigue, Materials Science and Engineering A, Engineering Fracture Mechanics, and the International Journal of Fracture. He has been involved in numerous projects related to the structural damage, reliability and airworthiness design for aircraft and aero engine, supported by the Natural Science Foundation of China, COMAC Company and AECC Commercial Aircraft Engine Company. K. Subrahmanya Bhat is Associate Professor in the Department of Chemistry, Manipal Institute of Technology, Manipal Academy of Higher Education, India. His research focuses on nanomaterials design Tuan Anh Nguyen is a Senior Principal Research Scientist at the Institute for Tropical Technology, Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology, Hanoi, Vietnam. He received a BS in physics from Hanoi University in 1992, a BS in economics from Hanoi National Economics University in 1997, and a PhD in chemistry from the Paris Diderot University, France, in 2003. He was a Visiting Scientist at Seoul National University, South Korea, in 2004, and the University of Wollongong, Australia, in 2005. He then worked as a Postdoctoral Research Associate and Research Scientist at Montana State University, United States in 2006-09. In 2012 he was appointed as the Head of the Microanalysis Department at the Institute for Tropical Technology. His research areas of interest include smart sensors, smart networks, smart hospitals, smart cities, complexiverse, and digital twins. He has edited more than 74 books for Elsevier, 12 books for CRC Press, 1 book for Springer, 1 book for RSC, and 2 books for IGI Global.
