Cognitive radio (CR) is an attractive research area for 4G/5G wireless communication systems, which enables unlicensed users to access the spectrum. The main goal of this book is to provide highlights of current research topics in the field of CR-based systems.
The limitation of the radio spectrum and the rapid growth of communication applications make optimal usage of radio resources essential.
