Electrical Principles for the Electrical Trades, 7e
The new edition of Electrical Principles for the Electrical Trades carries forward the rich legacy of previous editions. It has been substantially revised and restructured to meet the needs of students and trade professionals in Electrotechnology. Each chapter is now comprehensively aligned to the knowledge and skills specified in the 8 units of competencies in national training packages for an electrical trade qualification. Written in a clear and concise manner, the text employs full-colour diagrams and photographs to illustrate key concepts and topics. The new design supports practical and effective learning.

Electrical Wiring Practice, 8e
The 8th edition of Electrical Wiring Practice has been carefully revised to meet the needs of electrotechnology studentsand professionals looking to further advance their trade competencies. The new edition has been updated to include thelatest amendments to the Australian and New Zealand Wiring Rules AS/NZS 3000:2018 and forms essential reading for Cert II and Cert III electrical apprentices. Streamlined into a handy, single-volume textbook, the chapters now comprehensively align with the knowledge and skills specified by the UEE electrotechnology training package and the essential performance capabilities required for an electrical licence. This edition covers 16 units of competencies.

Telecommunications, 1e
Telecommunications provides comprehensive coverage of the UEENEEF102A unit on installing and maintaining cabling to telecommunication services. This text represents an important component in national training packages for an electricaltrade qualification and advanced trade competencies. Written in clear and direct language for AQF Level 2, it supports student learning through numerous examples and diagrams. This product has been written primarily for students and teachers of electrical trades completing the Certificate III in Electrotechnology, but it will also be helpfulto many trade professionals.

Jim Jenneson has written the last five successful editions of Electrical Principles for the Electrical Trades. He is now happily retired after a long and distinguished career as a teacher of VET electrotechnology. The first edition of his text appeared in 1980 and quickly established itself as the bible in its field, a status which it continues to hold. The text reflects his approach to teaching - patient, thorough and focused on clarity. Keith Pethebridge has been an author of Electrical Wiring Practice since the first edition. Before retirement, he was Senior Head Teacher in Electrical Trades at the Sydney Technical College, now the Sydney Institute of TAFE. Keith also worked as a consultant for apprentice training nationally. Keith passed away in March 2010.
