Nowadays the biomimetic structures and materials are widely used in different micro/nano fluidic systems, lab-on-a chip devices, microelectromechanical systems (MEMS), and other practices. All known modern physics nano-structures and nano-objects are described, and their analogies in biophysics are presented. A comprehensive review on physical forces and interactions on the micro/nano scale is given and the microfluidic and nanofluidic systems and nanostructural smart materials are also discussed.
