Roll–to–Roll and Sheet–to–Sheet Fabrication of Flexible Electronics
Blackwell Verlag GmbH
978-3-527-34221-1 (ISBN)
Clearly divided into three sections, the text begins with an introduction to the field of flexible electronics, with the first section summarizing a number of vacuum techniques that are frequently used for high-throughput manufacturing. The second section presents an overview of the ambient techniques, while the final section discusses the post processing techniques that are required for finalization of devices.
With its interdisciplinary content, this volume is invaluable reading for a range of scientists, from chemistry and materials science to engineering, both in academia and industry.
Prof. Bruce E. Kahn is Adjunct Professor at Clemson University, USA, and a consultant specializing in the multidisciplinary fields of organic electronics, nanotechnology, nanofabrication, smart packaging, and Radio Frequency Identification (RFID). He obtained his PhD in chemistry from the University of Nebraska, USA. Professor Kahn has taught flexible electronics in a number of venues in the US and Europe, to a variety of students ranging from undergraduates to corporate executives and government officials. He is one of the founding members of the NextFlex Institute that has the focus on education, training and workforce development in the field of flexible electronics.
