Wilfred Ngwa, PhD, is Assistant Professor of Radiation Oncology and Faculty Medical Physicist at Harvard Medical School and University of Massachusetts Lowell. He received his Masters and Doctorate degrees in Physics from the University of Leipzig, Germany. His postdoctoral training was in Medical Physics/Biophysics at MD Anderson Cancer Center Orlando and Dana Farber/Harvard Cancer Center. Dr Ngwa's work on cancer nanomedicine has also been recognized with a number of awards: including the Best in Physics Award by the American Association of Physicist in Medicine and Canadian Organization for Medical Physics, during the joint international conference in Canada in 2011. He has received four other awards in cancer nanomedicine, including one for excellence in research from the United States National Cancer Institute. Erno Sajo, PhD, is Professor at the University of Massachusetts, and Director of the leading CAMPEP approved graduate Medical Physics Program in Massachusetts based at the University of Massachusetts Lowell. He is a leading expert in Medical Physics & Radiological Science and External Member of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences. His research is focused on the fundamental interactions between radiation and biological matter with particular emphasis on cancer therapy. Piotr Zygmanski, PhD, is Assistant Professor and Staff Medical Physicist at the Brigham and Women's Hospital, Dana Farber Cancer Institute, Harvard Medical School. He has major research expertise in nanoscale dosimetry for gold nanoparticle radiotherapy and radiobiology.
