The author is a graduate engineer from Ecole Centrale de Paris (1966), Ph.D (Mathematics, USA, 1968). Professor Emeritus at Ecole Nationale des Ponts et Chaussees, was professor of Operations Research during 27 years as well at Ecole Nationale des Mines de Paris, is currently visiting professor at Prism-CNRS. He started at IBM research (1967). Founded 3 companies FERMA, Nilcom and Halys currently (telecom equipments). Author or 8 books (6 maths, 2 telecoms), 85 patents granted.
