AI is expected to radically change teaching and learning in both schools and industry causing radical disruption of work. AI can support initiatives and lifelong learning, but educational institutions and companies need to take changing technology into account. Moving towards AI supported by digital tools requires a major shift in the concept of learning, expertise, and its business applications.

The book explores the concepts of advancements in teaching and learning. It comprises the latest research on AI and how it is changing learning and education. The book focuses on the opportunities to expand educational settings with AI for learning in and beyond the traditional classroom. It also deals with ethical challenges related to learning and education, while connecting human learning and machine learning. It will be of use to a range of readers, including researchers, AI users, companies, and policy makers.

Amit Kumar Tyagi has a B Tech in Computer Science and Engineering, Meerut Institute of Engineering and Technology, Meerut, India (2009), and M Tech and PhD in Computer Science and Engineering from Pondicherry University in 2012 and 2018 respectively. He has served in academia since 2019, and is working in Department of Fashion Technology, National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT), New Delhi, 110016, Delhi, India since 2022. He e He HE has contributed to several projects such as “AARIN” (https://doi.org/10.1016/j.ijin.2021.09.007) and “P3- Block” (https://doi.org/10.1007/978-3-030-58817-5_56) to address some of the open issues related to the privacy breaches in Medical Cyber Physical Systems (MCPS) and Vehicular Applications (such as Parking, Toll Plaza, etc.) and he is currently working on Project “IndiaSize”, Funded by Ministry of Textiles, Government of India. He has published 6 books so far with reputed publishers and has several more in the pipeline. His research interests include Smart and Secure Computing, Network and Information Security, Privacy, and Trust in Autonomous Vehicles.
