Arun Kumar Chakraborty, PhD, is a Professor at the Department of Library and Information Science (DLIS), Netaji Subhas Open University (NSOU), Kolkata, India, with over 36 years in LIS academics, research, and administration. A Fulbright Scholar and Lifetime Achievement Awardee, he served as Director General (DG) of the National Library and Raja Rammohun Roy Library Foundation (RRRLF), India, he has authored 70+ papers, represented India globally, advises the Government on libraries and serves on various governing bodies.Ajay P. Singh, PhD, former Professor and Head of the DLIS at Banaras Hindu University, India, is Director General of the National Library of India and RRRLF, and Additional Mission Director for the National Mission on Libraries, Ministry of Culture, Government of India. With 28 years' experience, he has authored 100+ papers, represented India globally, and advises the Government on libraries.Swapna Banerjee, PhD, is a Professor of DLIS at the University of Calcutta, Kolkata, India, with over 32 years' experience as a librarian, teacher, and researcher. She has served as Dean, Director-Internal Quality Assurance Cell, and MPhil Coordinator at the University of Calcutta, authored 12 books and 80 articles, and supervised 12 PhDs and 19 MPhils.
