Levan Darbaidze is a judge with 11 years of experience, Affiliated Professor of the Law School of the Caucasus University, Georgia, Founder of the Child Rights Center of the Caucasus University, and Doctor of Law. Since 2001, he has worked in various public institutions, including as a prosecutor of the Department of International Relations of the General Prosecutor's Office of Georgia (five years) and Head of the Internal Control and Audit Service of the Civil Registry Agency of the Ministry of Justice of Georgia (six years). Since 2014, he has been a judge in the field of criminal law, since 2017, a life-long judge in the Criminal Law Board of the Gori District Court, and since 2016, he has been a specialized juvenile judge. In addition, since 2006, he has taught at various universities in the areas of criminal law, criminal procedure, juvenile justice, restorative justice, and judicial ethics. He is an author of twenty scientific articles and two books.
