Karyn Kessler is Associate Teaching Professor of Linguistics and Director of the English for Multilingual Students Program at the University of California, Santa Barbara. Paul Michiels is Instructor in the University Writing Program at George Washington University. Paul M. Rogers is Associate Professor of Writing Studies and Director of the Writing Program at the University of California, Santa Barbara.
