Participation in education is essential in fostering the full agency of people within society. Higher education is subject to a variety of rights for students, and often these rights are protected by law or by university policy. Patrick Blessinger is the chief research scientist of the International Higher Education Teaching and Learning Association, USA. Madasu Bhaskara Rao is Professor at the ICFAI Business School in Hyderabad, India, which is a constituent of the ICFAI Foundation for Higher Education, a deemed-to-be University.
