This book uses the dynamic monitoring data of the floating population of the National Health and Family Planning Commission in 2013 to sort out the living conditions and economic integration of China’s floating population, and reveals some quantitative characteristics of China’s floating population by means of literature research, investigation and research, and mathematical statistics. This book analyzes the important factors affecting the economic integration of the floating population in China, explores the living conditions of the floating population in China, and provides a scientific basis for promoting the employment of the floating population, actively participating in social production activities, and improving the income level of the floating population and their families.

Jianming Hou, born on March 31, 1982, in Changchun, Jilin Province, Ph.D., demography, Associate Professor, Institute of Population, Resources and Environment, Northeast Asia Research Institute, Jilin University, main research direction: population economics. From April 2014 to February 2015, I studied in the Department of Human Welfare at Kansai Gakuin University as Visiting Scholar. Hou Jianming participated in a number of major scientific research projects of the Ministry of Education, completed a number of provincial and ministerial scientific research projects as the subject leader, and published more than 10 papers in core journals.
