This graphic novel was created by the Seek Initiative, with support from CORRECTIV, to encourage citizens and communities to carry out their own investigations. We hope this fictional story brings transparent, rigorous research methods to new audiences. Let‘s Investigate tells a story reflecting the future that Seek enviasions: a society in which important, trustworthy narratives are uncovered and wrongdoing is exposed - from the ground up, by the citizens and communities affected.

Frederik Richter, has for 20 years been a journalist focused on finance and investigantions, including for Reuters, CORRECTIV and Bild. He has reported from a dozen countries in the Middle East and South East Asia and uncovered numerous cases of bribery and fraud before leading a number of award-winnig inverstigations at CORRECTIV. He is the author of two journalistic graphic novels. He is currently a director at the Berlin-based risk data provider OpenSanctions and teaches investigative journalism at the University of Münster, Germany.

Camilo Vieco, is a comic book artist and animation director from Colombia. His work spans a range of formats from short-form comics to documentaries. In 2016, he wo the regional prize in the Young Talents Content for the Angoulême International BD Festival, and published his first graphic novel, El Baile de San Pascual, in 2020. Vieco currently works for Venturia Animation Studio. He studied graphic design in Botogá and has a Masters degree in Bande Dessinée from the university of Poitiers in France.
