Counselors, parents, and teachers can not only join in on the adventures at Stone Gate Elementary with Captain Emotions and the SuperPower Pack, but with this resource they can empower children to further build their own emotional intelligence, empathy, resilience, logical thinking, and mindfulness. With ready-to-use lesson plans, activities that connect to real-life challenges, and deep dives into concepts like emotional regulation and friendship, this flexible toolkit contains all that's needed to integrate the SuperPower Pack into classroom, counseling, and at-home settings.

This resource guide is for counselors, parents and teachers to use as a standalone resource or in conjunction with the children's book series We All Have SuperPowers! The guide includes activities and lessons to help children build empathy, emotional intelligence, logical thinking, perseverance, growth mindset and mindfulness. It extends the Guide Star conversation questions included in the series stories and activities into lessons and takes a deeper dive into conversations and therapeutic strategies that can be used in the counseling setting, at school or home with young children. The booklet is broken up by themes so parents, teachers and counselors can pull material based on the needs of the child. And, the booklet includes a simple "recipe" for a lesson plan format that we recommend using in the classroom as well as a few example lesson plans.
