This updated version reflects revisions and new information published by the National Board for Professional Teaching Standards. It includes dozens of successful strategies National Board Candidates have used as they pursue National Board Certification. The chapters chart a roadmap showing how to provide evidence of the National Board Standards by breaking the components into manageable pieces. There are tips for studying for the Component 1 Assessment Center Exercises and responding to the prompts. Component 2 includes strategies for understanding the prompts, writing about differentiation in instruction, and reflecting on one’s teaching practice. This volume also includes practical tips for writing successfully in the “National Board” style.
