This text equips future educators with the knowledge and strategies necessary to address the wide-ranging diversity in modern classrooms. It acknowledges that learning about diversity is a process and provides foundational knowledge to better prepare teachers for diverse educational encounters. The second edition features two new chapters that address individualized education programs, and multi-tiered systems of support (MTSS) and response to intervention (RtI).
