Carey Denholm is Adjunct Professor and Director of Research and Publications at the Conservatorium of Music, University of Tasmania. He was formerly Professor and Dean of Graduate Research at the University of Tasmania (1997-2007). Carey is a Member of the Australian Psychological Society, a Fellow of the Australian College of Education and is a recipient of the University of Tasmania Teaching Excellence Award and the Vice Chancellor's Award for Outstanding Community Engagement. Terry Evans is a Professor of Education at Deakin University where, until 2008, he was Associate Dean of Education (Research & Doctoral Studies). Terry was a foundation member of the Council of Deans and Directors of Graduate Studies in Australia and remained on the Council until 2008. He is a Chief Investigator on two current and two completed Australian Research Council (ARC) Projects that concern aspects of doctoral education in Australia.
