ROBERT H. BLANK is Research Scholar, New College, Sarasota, Florida, USA and visiting Professor at University of Canterbury, Christchurch, New Zealand. He has published over thirty books in health and biomedical policy. VIOLA BURAU is Associate Professor of Public Policy, University of Aarhus, Denmark. She has written on a range of topics, including the policies and politics of health, the governance of old age care and professions in the welfare state.
