AS FEATURED ON BBC WOMAN'S HOUR

Alison Marsh was living an ordinary life. She loved walks with her dog, drinks with her mates and nights in with her family. But one night, after falling victim to a shocking crime, Ali made a decision that would change everything: she became a private investigator.

Armed with her intelligence, intuition and a strong sense of justice, Ali formed Miss A.M. Investigations. Her new life brought with it a roster of colourful clients and countless mysteries to solve. Sharpening her investigative skills, soon Ali found herself conducting remote surveillance, assuming new identities and infiltrating gangs (or in this instance, a book club). Whether she's catching love-cheats red-handed, foiling fraudsters or finding missing persons, no two days are the same. Yet with each case comes the same desire to help people in need, however she can.

In Private Lies, Ali takes the reader behind the scenes of these real cases and shows how she uses her skills and experience to follow the clues, solve the mysteries and find the answers for those who need them most.

Alison Marsh is a private investigator at Miss A. M. Investigations, registered with the UK Private Investigators Network, with qualifications in forensics, criminology, profiling, criminal psychology and private investigation. She has been profiled (sometimes under the name Alison Harris) by The Daily Mail, the Independent, The Lady, The Metro, The Sun, Woman Magazine, The Mirror and OK! Magazine, among others, and has appeared on BBC Woman's Hour (26th Dec 2023). She lives in Oxfordshire with her family and two dogs. Private Lies will be her first book for the trade.
