Emily Dickinson (1830-1886) was an American poet known for her unique, unorthodox style and introspective, often enigmatic poetry. Living much of her life in isolation, she wrote nearly 1,800 poems, focusing on themes like death, immortality, nature, and the self. Her work was published posthumously, gaining wide recognition. Pelé Cox is a poet, performance artist and film maker. She holds an MA in creative writing from the University of East Anglia, under the tutelage of Andrew Motion (then Poet Laureate). She has been Poet in Residence at Tate Modern, the Royal Academy of Arts, Keats-Shelley House and the British School at Rome, and is a visiting tutor at the University of Westminster, London. Since 2015 Pelé has worked with companies such as PwC and Nielsen, tutoring leaders and employees in creative innovation.
