Nevertheless, the Internet has brought about new challenges and there remain a number of issues to be addressed and problems to be solved. Which is why, for comparison purposes, the book also considers website translation and localization with public cultural institutions and with multinational companies.

Alexandru Praisler is a Senior Lecturer at "Dunarea de Jos" University of Galati, Romania, and a professional translator and interpreter. He has a PhD in Translation Studies (2012) and was a postdoctoral fellow (2014-2015) with a project on the translation and localization of institutional websites. He has published extensively in the fields of translation studies and critical discourse analysis. His research interests are politics, translation, website localization, and subtitling.
