JING LUO is Associate Professor of French and Chinese at Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania. He received his degrees in linguistics and second language pedagogy from Pennsylvania State University and Peking University. His publications include the books Over a Cup of Tea—An Introduction to Chinese Life and Culture and Let's Speak Chinese (with multimedia CD-ROM), and the article China—Cities vs. the Countryside.
