Her area of interest includes the study of population in the context of development, family demography, migration, gender and maternal and child health. Md. Selim Reja is an Assistant Professor at the Dept of Geography, the University B. T. and Evening College, West Bengal. India. His areas of interest are national and international labour migration, livelihood issues of labour migrants and rural development issues, especially linked to remittances.
