Susan Hawthorne writes about cultural appropriation, depoliticization and the erasure of lesbian inventiveness. Her investigations include lesbian refugees, lesbian economics, violation of lesbian human rights and the impact of the transgender industrial complex on the existence of lesbians as a political force.
