He was formerly Head of Examinations and Assessment for National Police Training, Head of Training in the North Yorkshire Police, and worked as Course Director and Director of Studies at the Police Staff College, Bramshill. David Johnston LLB, LLM is a barrister and operational inspector in the Metropolitan Police Service.
