It covers the health models adopted in Brazil's history, up to the emergence of the Unified Health System (SUS) with its principles and guidelines, standards and pacts, the blocks and organisation that finance the public system. It also includes an analysis and organisation of the Health Care Levels according to the determinants of the health and disease process, highlighting primary care. The tool that I consider essential for achieving the objectives of primary care, which is Community Diagnosis, was discussed.
