The present investigation has as objective; to propose a booklet of orientation to the family of early childhood children for the development of traditional games in family life conditions, which constitutes a novel contribution for the families and other educative agents, it contains images, examples and suggestions for the development of traditional games at home. Besides, its elaboration is based on scientific foundations that support the conception of early childhood education, as well as on the regularities detected in the diagnosis of the current state; through the application of empirical, mathematical and statistical methods that allowed corroborating the insufficient preparation of the families for the development of traditional games in family life conditions. The application of the booklet evidenced its effectiveness in the preparation of the family taking into account the indicators stated in the research.
