This research is conducted in the state of Zacatecas in the Normal Schools that offer the Bachelor's Degree in Preschool Education, it is qualitative because its main objective is to understand a phenomenon from the perspective of the participants (Sampieri, 2014) with an exploratory approach, it addresses the performance of males within the initial teacher training, as well as the elements that influenced the males to enter this degree. For data collection, open-ended questions directed to (male) students and Likert-type surveys directed to men and women of the Bachelor's Degree were used. In this research, the influence of family values on the natural or artificial vocation of the male gender within the Bachelor's Degree in Preschool Education is revealed. It is intended to put on the table the value that men give to gender roles and stereotypes against the innate vocation.
