Turbulence engages the reader through story-telling and case study and challenges educators to think critically about how they would respond to such turbulence in the communities and schools they serve.
School leaders and educators confront complexity daily in their service. To counter the chaos, collective leadership approaches that invite multiple stakeholders within and outside schools are critical in preparing students for a highly diverse world. Social darkness and isolation must be eradicated and education that provides more opportunities for peace and hope must become the core of school vision. Communities and schools must work together now.
