This is one of two packages which mark the launch of a new series of complete one-day training packages which are particularly tailored to the needs of women. The packages have been produced by consultants from the Domino Consultancy who have been closely involved in the UK government's "Opportunity 2000" initiative to encourage companies to provide more training for women in the workforce. In-house trainers or consultants can use the materials in this package in a training session to help women improve their own management skills. Among the topics covered in the day's training are: what power means to me; how to identify internal and external negative influences; what management level do I want to reach; how to overcome the hurdles; tactics for promotion; and what constitutes a successful women manager.
