In The Color Correction Coach: Organized Workflows for Color Grading Confidently and Profitably, veteran colorist Patrick Inhofer presents postproduction professionals and students with complete, repeatable processes for color correcting moving images. Featuring techniques performed in a variety of color correction software applications, this book provides skills and workflows that any aspiring colorist, editor, independent filmmaker, or motion graphics artist requires to master primary and secondary corrections, reference monitors, scopes, contrast, saturation, shot matching, controlling the eye, client relations, budgeting, and much more. A robust companion website features source footage that readers can download and edit, video webinars and tutorials, and instructor resources.

Patrick Inhofer is a professional colorist, finisher, and owner of the Orlando-based boutique Fini.tv. Patrick takes his experience working at high-end, full-service New York City post houses and delivers those same services to low- and mid-budget productions. Patrick has worked on films, documentaries, television series, corporate videos, promos, and ID packages for a range of clients including HBO, NBC, ABC, Showtime, ESPN, Oxygen, AMC, Lifetime, TNT, TBS, National Geographic Channel, Starwood Hotels & Resorts, AOL, TV One, Virgin Records, and many more. For many years, Patrick was also an Adjunct Professor at Hofstra University, where he taught Digital Color Correction for Television, and he contributed to the book Color Grading with Avid Media Composer and Symphony 6 by Bryan Castle. In 2010 Patrick founded the software agnostic color grading training website TaoOfColorGrading.com, which focuses on the art, craft and business of professional color grading
