This study is a comparison between elderly women settled in their own home and old age home. A sociocultural analysis is done and women's life satisfaction level also comes under this study. This book raises a question whether 'the old age home' is a real solution to the ageing population.

James, Romio Dr. Romio James secured PhD from MG university after post graduation. Is settled in Pavaratty which belongs to Thrissur district of Kerala. Is married to an engineer, Er.V.C.James.Is blessed with two children- Janvi and Jerin. Dr. James is working as a principal of Royal College of Medical Technology, Pavaratty, and also runs three medical labs.
