She graduated from the Banaras Hindu University, with doctorate in Genetics and Plant breeding in the year 2012. She has also worked as Research Scientist in Bioved Research Society, Allahabad, India. She was working as Postdoctoral fellow in University of Mumbai before joining her current position. She has authored a number of national and international publications.
