Mario Amendola is Professor at the Sapienza University of Rome, Italy. Jean-Luc Gaffard is Professor Emeritus at the University of Nice Sophia Antipolis, France, researcher at OFCE Sciences Po and honorary member of the Institut Universitaire de France.
