Laura Schneider holds a Ph.D. in political science from Purdue University and is an associate professor in the Department of Political Science at Grand Valley State University. Dr. Schneider teaches courses in introductory American government, environmental policy, the policy process, and women and politics. In addition to teaching, Dr. Schneider is a member of the Environmental Studies Interdisciplinary Advisory Board. Her professional writing has been published in the Journal of Political Science Education and Conservation and Society.
