Lee Ballestero earned her Ph.D. at University of California, Irvine and is a social and behavioral sciences faculty member at Moorpark College. Her research focuses on elections, media, and institutions, and her educational interests revolve around helping students better understand their government in order to develop an appreciation for the political world.
