Patricia Conlan is a graduate of the National University of Ireland (UCG), (B.A., LL.B. and LL.M.) and of the Eberhard-Karls-Universitat, Tubingen (Dr. iuris). She was awarded a Council of European Human Rights Fellowship in 1983/84 to carry out an examination of the efficacy of the European Social Charter as a model for implementing social - specifically labour - legislation nationally. She has taught Labour Law and Comparative Law at undergraduate level, and EC Law at undergraduate and postgraudate level for a number of years at the University of Limerick where she is Lecturer in European Law.
