Alexis Beauclair's work has been featured in prominent media including The New York Times, Pitchfork Review and Real Life.
The author is the editor of internationally renowned Altcomics anthology Lagon. Currently accompanying an exhibition in Paris featuring Simon Hanselman, CF, Marie Jacotey, Aidan Koch, and Olivier Schrauwen.
The author has two titles to come from highly regarded publishers worldwide, but this title arrives before them.
The first mature graphic novel from the Abstract Comics school.
Includes essays by Best American Comics editor Bill Kartalopoulos and international comics critic Kim Jooha
As with many of 2dcloud's artists that cause readers to question the distinctions between fine-art and comics, Beauclair furthers that goal and only strengthens the argument made by his contemporaries, such as Juliacks, Austin English, and Sarah Ferrick, amongst others.
This title can also appeal to fine art, illustration, and graphic design audience.
Elegant design includes dust-jacket that doubles as a gorgeously abstracted poster.
Bound with a durable smyth-sewn style, attention to production quality will be a key point of distinction amongst similar titles.
