Paula Wojcikiewicz Almeida is Professor of International Law at the Getulio Vargas Foundation Law School in Rio de Janeiro. She is also a Jean Monnet Chair, sponsored by the European Commission, and member of the Centre for Studies on Judiciary and Society of the Getulio Vargas Foundation Law School, Brazil. An Associate Researcher at the Institute of International and European Law at the Sorbonne (IREDIES), France, she received her doctorate summa cum laude in International and European Law from the University of Paris I - Panthéon-Sorbonne and her Master's degree in International and European Law from the Université Paris XI, Faculté Jean Monnet. Her publications include Latin America and the International Court of Justice: Contributions to International Law (2016) and La difficile incorporation et mise en oeuvre des normes du Mercosur: aspects généraux et exemple du Brésil (2013).Júlia Rodrigues Costa de Serpa Brandão is a fourth-year Law Student at Fundação Getúlio Vargas Law School of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, and a Research Assistant at the Scientific Initiation Project (PIBIC) on "America and the International Court of Justice", funded by the same institution.
