She publishes fiction, nonfiction and creative writing criticism including Can It Really Be Taught?: Resisting Lore in Creative Writing Pedagogy, Teaching Creative Writing to Undergraduates: A Guide and Sourcebook and Rethinking Creative Writing Rebecca Manery teaches creative and academic writing at Ball State University, USA. A published poet and non-fiction writer she is co-author (with Tonya Perry) of Supporting Students in a Time of Common Core Standards (6-8) (2011).
