Deborah Goodwin is a senior lecturer in the Department of Communication Studies, Royal Military Academy Sandhurst and a subject specialist in negotiation issues. She has lectured in the UK and internationally on many aspects of negotiation and in March 1999 she organised a conference on negotiation at Sandhurst, which formed the inspiration for this publication
