"Your Life" offers a way to meet curriculum requirements for personal, social and health education (PSHE) and citizenship at key stage 3 (P7, P1, S2) The course has a progressive structure, covering four key areas - "Understanding Yourself", "Keeping Healthy", "Developing Relationships", and "Developing as a Citizen" - which mirror the arrangement and content of the curriculum. The three student's books each cover a range of PSHE and Citizenship topics. They are designed for use either on a one-per-year basis or selectively to fit in with existing programmes. The three teacher's books contain guidance and suggestions for further activities which extend the student's books. Each book also has 20 copymasters including self-assessment tasks and stimulus material concerning sensitive topics.

John Foster is a well-known anthologist and poet and has compiled several wonderful collections – WHAM BANG ORANGUTANG being one of the best known (OUP), and he wrote the poem of the title. He travels extensively to help promote his books.
