A unit-by-unit customizable support pack that contains a CD-ROM and paper-based materials to help provide tutors with support in teaching the compulsory and optional units at Advanced VCE in Health and Social Care.
This is the Edexcel official support pack, giving unit-by-unit support on teaching and assessing compulsory units. It includes photocopiable material and a customisable CD-ROM. The support for each unit comprises an introduction to the unit; sugestions for linking to other units and co-teachability; an overview or teaching and learning, and assessment strategies; and development of key skills. There is a suggested topic-breakdown for teaching the unit, together with a series of learning activities to cover all the underpinning knowledge. Tutors can develop work suited to their own locality, using skeleton activities. As well as suggestions for assessments, there is a complete list of additional resources from videos to journal articles that students and tutors can access for the unit.
